Looking for Recommendations on a DVD Player and TV Setup

Hey everyone! I just inherited a bunch of DVDs from my grandmother—those classic flicks she used to watch with me when I was a kid. The catch is, I don't have a DVD player or a gaming console to play them on. I'm primarily looking for a reliable DVD player since all my DVDs are standard digital formats, not Blu-Ray. If anyone has suggestions for a good, durable DVD player or even a TV to pair it with, that would be awesome. I appreciate any recommendations you might have!

I've got a decent DVD player that I bought locally for about £20. But if you're tech-savvy, a Blu-ray drive for your PC is also a good route—internal ones are super cheap, and USB external ones are just a bit more. Plus, you can connect your PC to a big screen which is nice!

When I worked at Best Buy, the staff always advised against getting a Vizio for any setup. Honestly, for what you need, checking out a pawn shop could be ideal—bet you could snag both a DVD player and TV for around $80. Also, remember that many Blu-ray players can play regular DVDs too, which gives you more options!

You can find a decent DVD player for around $50 max. As for TVs, it really depends on the size you're looking for. I saw a 32" 1080p HD TV for only $90 at Best Buy. So, for under $150, you could have a pretty solid setup!

A 32" fits what I'm aiming for. Any particular brands you'd recommend looking at?

You might want to hit up a garage sale or a local thrift store like Goodwill. You can usually find DVD players for about $10 each, so you can grab a couple without breaking the bank!
