I recently upgraded my PC, but the new GPU I got, which is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 (8 GB), isn't performing well in games. I'm wondering if I should consider a different GPU or if there might be something else I need to change in my setup to make it work better. What are some solid options for GPUs right now?

What CPU are you working with? Sometimes the CPU can bottleneck even a decent GPU like the 5060. If it's underpowered, it might limit the performance you're expecting.
I waited a long time to upgrade from my old GTX 780 Ti to the 5090, and it was worth the wait. Don’t rush your decision; take your time to research and get the right one for you!
Don't rush to blame the GPU just yet! Make sure it's installed correctly, and double-check that the HDMI cable is hooked up to the GPU and not the motherboard. Also, your drivers might need an update. What’s the rest of your setup like? What kind of power supply do you have? That might be affecting performance too.
I recently switched from a 3080 to a 5070 Ti, and it's been an amazing upgrade! If you're thinking of moving up, don't hesitate!
I moved from a 3050 to a 5070 and saw a huge difference. People here also recommend the 9060 XT for its great price-to-performance ratio. It might be worth looking into if you're considering an upgrade.
Thanks for the advice! I'll look into those options.
Before you give up on your RTX 5060, can you clarify what you mean by it not running any games? Are there any error messages or specific issues when you try to launch a game? Also, what CPU and motherboard are you using? That info could really help us figure out if there’s a compatibility issue or something else going on.
That's awesome to hear! Maybe I should consider that if I need to upgrade.
