I'm on the hunt for reliable hardware and software resellers. Whenever I purchase items like antivirus software or servers, I usually request 2-3 quotes. However, since 2020, I've noticed it's been tough to get timely quotes from vendors. I'm seeking suggestions for companies that offer responsive service, knowledgeable salespeople, and fair pricing—basically alternatives to major players like CDW. If you've had a great experience with a reseller, please share your recommendations!

I've had great experiences with Connection (formerly PC Connection). It really matters who you get as your rep—sometimes you just hit it off and they provide fantastic support. I found their response time and customer service way better than CDW!
For antivirus and related services, I've been using BorderLAN and Presidio, and they've been solid for AV/EDR/XDR solutions.
I highly recommend checking out a local VAR (Value-Added Reseller). They usually work hard to get you the best options and can often access deals that aren't available to the general public.
It also helps to know your size and industry. Different VARs specialize in different areas, so that could guide your choice!
Dmd is also an option worth considering.
