I'm in the market for a lightweight portable computer primarily for productivity, not gaming. I'm considering the Microsoft Surface, but my past experience with an older model wasn't great since the battery life dwindled after a few years. I'd need the keyboard cover too, which raises the price. I'm also not thrilled about the increasing integration of CoPilot and Recall. A MacBook Air has crossed my mind as an alternative, but I prefer Windows OS and I'm not really an Apple enthusiast. I'm curious about other options in this category—like Dell's XPS 2-in-1, though I think it's been discontinued. My budget is around $1500, but I'm willing to stretch a bit for the right device. Any recommendations?

Check out the GPD computers—they're really compact and fit your budget. The Win Max 2 is particularly good for work, although it’s a bit gaming-oriented. While there are even smaller variants, they might be challenging for touch typing due to cramped keyboards.
You might want to consider a device with an AI chip, like an Hx series model. Also, smaller brands often focus on lightweight machines with minimal software, optimizing performance.
Interesting, I've never heard of this company! Their products do seem unique, but I think I'd prefer something else. Thanks for the suggestion!
