I'm thinking of installing Linux on my PC soon, but I want to make sure I really understand it and have a grasp on how computers work first. Does anyone have recommendations for YouTube channels or videos that can help me learn about Linux? I'm eager to dive in before I actually install it.

If you truly want to dive deep into Linux, Linux From Scratch is the way to go. But first, you'll need an installed Linux distro. I suggest starting with a beginner-friendly one like Mint or Debian. Just flash it to a USB and consider dual-booting.
If you want to learn Linux just to get started, consider setting up a virtual machine (VM). That way, if something goes wrong, you can easily reset it without any major issues.
In my opinion, YouTube might not be the fastest way to learn. Setting up a VM or even using an old laptop to dive in could be a much better approach.
Check out LinuxJourney.com for some great resources. You can even test things out in your browser using DistroSea.com if you don't have internet access. But don't skip watching a video for the actual installation process!
A solid YouTube channel to start with is Learn Linux TV. It's really calm and informative, which makes it easier to learn.
