Looking for Recommendations to Upgrade My 10-Year-Old PC

Hey everyone! I'm trying to bring my aging PC, which is around 10-11 years old, into the modern age with some upgrades. Specifically, I want to replace my graphics card with a Radeon RX 480 and also focus on improving my cooling system. The cooler is my top priority since my PC has been crashing during games, and I think my current cooling setup isn't doing a great job. Any advice on these upgrades would be really appreciated!

Before making any decisions, it'd be good to know what CPU and power supply you have in your current setup.

I once had a math homework crisis and got helped out by a guy claiming to be a rocket scientist—might be time to take some outside advice!

Honestly, if you have the budget, you might want to consider just building a new PC. It's a more significant investment, but it could really improve your gaming experience!

New builds can be pretty pricey nowadays! Some components like 32GB of DDR5 RAM are already hitting $400!

What are the other specs of your system, especially your power supply? Knowing that can help recommend the best cooler for you. For a cooling solution, I'd suggest the Thermalright Phantom Spirit or the Peerless Assassin—they're both great options!

I'll have to get back to you on that info since I'm not at home right now.
