I'm part of a small non-profit with a limited IT team, and we've always relied on a vendor for our laptop purchases, mostly going with ASUS models. Unfortunately, we've run into issues with three identical laptops from a single order that are experiencing the same hardware problem, and neither the vendor nor ASUS is providing support. Given these ongoing problems and the risks associated with this setup, I'm on the hunt for alternative sources to buy laptops. We don't have the capacity to store a large inventory, so buying in bulk isn't feasible for us. Our current standard model is the ASUS Vivobook 15, priced around £750 including VAT. Can anyone recommend a trustworthy vendor or a reliable manufacturer like Dell or HP that offers solid support?

We typically work with VARs for our purchases, and they’re usually much more responsive than dealing directly with manufacturers. Softcat is a good option, and they can help with custom specs and extended warranties. Business-class laptops tend to be built better and come with longer support, which is something I'd definitely recommend.
Just a heads up, Softcat's prices aren't the lowest on the market, so keep that in mind if budget is a priority.
EuroPC is worth checking out. They have refurbished Dell Latitude models with 3-year pro support, which has been reliable for me and my family.
Consider going direct with Lenovo. They often can beat distribution prices for smaller quantities, and as a non-profit, you might score some discounts!

Thanks, that’s super helpful! I’ll look into our Softcat account and check out the other VARs you mentioned.
