I'm considering replacing our five Canon DR-G1100 scanners because it's becoming tough to find replacement parts. We are eyeing a few models: Kodak S3120, Ricoh FI 8820, and Canon DR G2110. Has anyone had experience with these particular models? We're hoping for a speed of 100-120 ppm, but our main concerns are durability, lifetime scans, and how often we'd need to perform maintenance.

While I don't have firsthand experience with the exact models you're considering, we use the Ricoh FI 8170, which is essentially a Fujitsu scanner under a different name. It's served us well in our mid-sized business for paperless scanning without any major issues.

It's true! Ricoh's recent acquisition of Fujitsu allows for using either brand name, and the 8170 is actually one of the more reliable options out there.
