Hey everyone! I'm facing a challenge with services that require SMS verification during the sign-up process, which seems to be almost all of them these days. Unfortunately, most don't accept VOIP numbers. I want to find a solution that allows our employees and contractors to sign up for these services without needing to use their personal phones or issuing them company phones. I've tried various business phone services, but none have worked well for SMS verification. Does anyone have any recommendations on services or platforms that effectively handle this?

Actually, while it's true a lot of services don’t accept free VOIP numbers like Google Voice, there are options out there. If you need a platform for SMS without personal or company phones, check out Clerkchat. It can integrate into Teams. Also, many business voice platforms have SMS capabilities, but remember you'll need to register for 10DLC.
It's strange that you're stuck with services only allowing SMS for multi-factor authentication (MFA). You might want to look for those offering Single Sign-On (SSO) integration instead, as that could simplify things a lot!
I totally get what you're saying! But unfortunately, many services still use SMS for account confirmations, so SSO isn't always an option.
Good point! I didn't realize there were business alternatives that could help us with this issue!
