Hey folks! I just rebuilt my old gaming tower with a Gigabyte B850 Gaming Wifi6 motherboard and upgraded several components, including the CPU and DDR. Everything's running smoothly, but I forgot to mention that I've been using my beloved old Mixamp with an SPDIF Toslink cable for about 20 years. Unfortunately, my new motherboard doesn't have an SPDIF output.
I've done some research, and I know there are some Gigabyte motherboards with special audio connections for lossless audio, but I need to know: is there an affordable sound card for under £50 in the UK that's suitable for gaming and music, which I can easily plug into my B850? Or, if I opt for an adapter bracket I found, what's the best socket to use? I'm a bit concerned about cable quality too, as I've faced audio issues in the past with hissing from poor connections. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to check out the Behringer UCA222. It's a USB audio interface that works well for SPDIF output and won’t break the bank. It’s a solid choice for a novice builder like yourself and costs around £17. It should definitely give you cleaner audio compared to what you’ve experienced before with standard cables.
Cheers! Do you think it’ll match the quality I’d get from a bracket directly plugged into the motherboard's HD socket on the top left? If it’s as good, I’m planning to grab one.
