Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a reliable SSD since I need to replace my ancient HDD that I think is about 15 years old. I have an Asus Prime Z390-A motherboard and I'm looking for an SSD to run Windows and play some games. I don't usually transfer large files or do creative work, so I'm thinking 2-4TB should be perfect. I'm hoping to find a decent price but I don't mind spending a bit more for necessary features. I'm really confused about things like DRAM and write speeds, so any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

I’d suggest going for an NVMe SSD. Your motherboard has a slot for one, and newer SSDs will perform really well with it. I usually opt for Samsung drives because they’re reliable, but WD is a good alternative too if you catch a sale. A size between 1-2TB is usually a sweet spot in terms of pricing, but 4TB can be pricey. Check out Amazon or Best Buy for options - they have plenty of choices!
Wait, so are you saying I can only fit one NVMe SSD? It feels like I haven't looked into my computer in ages and I'm out of the loop!
