Looking for Super Short Python Courses—Is There Anything Under an Hour?

I'm searching for extremely short Python courses or quick tutorials that take an hour or less to complete. Every course I come across to learn Python for GDscript seems to last a whole day, and that just demotivates me completely. I really need something concise that gives me the basics to get started without overwhelming me. Is there a possibility to learn the essentials in a very short time, or at least work through part of a course?

You might want to look at the official Python docs and focus on the data/object model. Just cramming info for an hour isn’t really how you learn a programming language effectively.

Here’s a YouTube crash course link. But be realistic about what you expect to learn in an hour! Picking up a new language usually takes months, especially if you’re starting from scratch.

There are plenty of short tutorials, but remember, you probably won’t learn much in that little time! Have you given the GDscript tutorial a shot? It's interactive and could keep you engaged while learning the basics.

I have, but it got overwhelming after just three lessons. I posted about it in another forum, and folks suggested I learn Python first, so that's why I'm looking here.

Honestly, it’s tough to grasp Python in an hour if you're new to programming. However, there are tons of YouTube courses available, but most are geared towards those with some prior experience already.

Check out 'Learn Python in Y Minutes'! It's super brief, but keep in mind that to really get better, you’ll need to invest some serious time and effort. Just a quick overview won’t cut it if you want to be effective.

Thanks, I appreciate the encouragement! Learning new things feels overwhelming for me, but everyone says picking up a new skill can help my mental health. It just seems to backfire right now.

Yes, there are quick resources, but try not to get discouraged. Finding the right learning pace is key!
