I'm looking for some solid online resources, like tutorials, ebooks, or PDFs, that focus on text-based learning for GNU/Linux. I'm particularly interested in in-depth materials rather than video courses. Any recommendations?

Just jumping in would help you discover what you need to learn! Start using Linux on a spare computer, it’s really safe. I’d recommend trying Linux Mint if you're coming from Windows, or Ubuntu if you're used to Mac. They've been super easy for me to use.

You might like the "Intro to Linux 101" course from the Linux Foundation; it's free and a solid starting point for beginners!

Check out the Arch Wiki; it's a great resource for detailed info on various aspects of GNU/Linux.

You can find a lot of helpful content at the Linux Documentation Project (TLDP). It's a well-organized site with tons of text-based guides.
