I'm in the market for a new monitor setup for my gaming PC. Specifically, I'm trying to decide between an ultrawide monitor or a dual monitor configuration for both work and play. Currently, I have two Dell P2422HE monitors with an Intel ThinkPad, which I really like for their 65W powered USB-C hub that charges my laptop while also serving as a display connection. They can be daisy-chained together, eliminating the need for a dock, but unfortunately, they aren't suitable for gaming. My new gaming setup will include a Ryzen 9900x CPU and an RTX 5080 GPU, and I also have a LG C1 OLED that I'll be using. I'm looking for something that offers 1440p or 4k resolution, ideally with USB hubs or ports for a tidy workspace. Panel type isn't a dealbreaker, but I'm somewhat concerned about OLED burn-in from static images. My budget is around $1000, but I'm willing to spend more for the right fit. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!

Check out the Crua 34-inch ultrawide 165Hz IPS monitor! I've been using it for Blender and gaming with my 5070 Ti, and it's been super reliable. I got mine for about $170, and I think it’s a great deal for that price!
Consider the MSI 491CQPX. It features a USB-C connection with 98W power delivery and a built-in hub. The resolution is equivalent to dual 27" 1440p monitors, and it's equipped with modern QD-OLED technology that includes protection features for screen burn-in.

Thanks for this recommendation, it looks promising! Just a couple of questions: does the game take up the entire screen, or can you use part of it for other stuff like YouTube? Also, how clear is the text for documents and spreadsheets?
