Looking for Upgrade Suggestions and Advice on My PC Setup

Hey everyone! I'm planning some upgrades for my PC that I built three years ago, and I'd love to get some suggestions from you. Currently, I use my computer for programming, gaming, and creating art—mostly with programs like Blender, Unity, and Godot. While I'm happy with how it performs, I want to enhance it a bit.

Here's what I'm thinking about:
1. I want to add more memory, especially since I know RAM prices are a bit wild right now.
2. I'd love more SSD storage since I'm running low on space.
3. A potential GPU upgrade would be nice, mainly to enjoy better graphics in games, and I'll also consider changing my motherboard since I've had some WiFi issues and can't use Ethernet.
4. Lastly, I'm curious about some aesthetic changes, like a new case, fans, and monitor.

Also, I have a quick question: my power supply cables have these split ends, and it's making my case look messy. Can I buy non-split cables for my power supply? Is that a standard issue, or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for any input you can provide!

Since you're already happy with your system, upgrading to a 9060XT GPU and adding a quality SSD for extra storage would be smart moves! You shouldn't need to worry too much about other components if everything's running smoothly.

Thanks, that helps! Graphics cards can be a bit overwhelming with all the choices out there, so I appreciate the direction.

Your current setup still has a lot of life left in it! Adding another 16GB of RAM would be a great first step, especially if you're running intensive programs. For storage, consider getting a larger SSD as your secondary drive. If you want to really see a performance boost, upgrading to a GPU like the 9060XT could be the way to go.

As for your power supply, it’s usually best to leave it alone if it's been working fine. Switching cables, especially to non-OEM ones, might cause issues. Just stick with what you know works!

You're right, I didn't think about the potential problems with different cables. Thanks for the reminder! More RAM and an SSD upgrade sounds perfect for me.

Just a thought—having 4 RAM sticks on your LGA 1700 motherboard should work fine as long as they’re compatible. It might even be cheaper to get two additional 8GB sticks if that's what you're looking for. SSD prices are definitely on the higher side right now; there are tier lists available that can help guide you on which SSDs are best!
