Looking for US-Based 24/7 Answering Services: Recommendations Needed!

Hey everyone,

I'm on the hunt for a reliable after-hours answering service for a small to midsize organization. Ideally, I'm looking for services that feature:

- Only US-based agents (no overseas call centers, please!)
- Real 24/7 operation including weekends and holidays
- Affordable and scalable pricing options (not just for big enterprises)
- It would be a bonus if they're HIPAA compliant or offer CRM syncing/custom call handling.

If anyone has positive experiences with services that have a good track record—professional and easy to work with—I'd love to hear your recommendations. Also, if there are any services you think are best to steer clear of, feel free to share those horror stories too. Thanks a lot in advance!

You might want to consider how much you're willing to spend. Sometimes the cheaper options aren't worth it; I've had mixed experiences with budget services. Good service does come at a cost, and while not every expensive service is excellent, some can be a real nightmare.

Totally, I get that! I'm not looking for the cheapest option, just something that provides good value.

I'd recommend Tasco Message Centers. They're a non-tech answering service with US-based agents. Their service focuses more on message collection and basic escalation, and the pricing is around $2k annually, which is quite reasonable!

Have you checked out Specialty Answering Service? They're not tech support, but they follow scripts really well. They make sure to gather all the necessary info from callers to handle issues more effectively. It's a good way to filter out simple problems before they escalate. Also, their pricing is pretty reasonable! Let me know if you want more details about my experience with them.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll definitely look into them. What did you find their pricing to be like?
