Looking to Customize My First Gaming PC in the UK

I've always dreamed of owning a gaming PC, and now that I can finally afford one, I'm really excited! I've only ever had a Macbook and a PS5 before. I'm considering using a service like PC Specialist to configure my PC, but I'm not sure how those sites work or if they're any good. I want to avoid building it myself and would rather pay a bit extra to have it professionally assembled. My budget is between £1500 and £2000. What kind of performance and longevity can I expect for that price? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, I would recommend building it yourself! It's not as hard as it sounds—think of it like putting together a puzzle. If you're worried about compatibility, check out PCPartPicker; it helps you select parts that work together, so you won’t mistakenly buy anything that doesn’t fit. Plus, you'll save a lot of money!

Is it really that much cheaper? I liked the idea of financing with PC Specialist, especially since I’m starting a new job soon. That would help me manage the cost.
