Looking to Cut Costs on My Custom Gaming and Animation PC Build

I recently got advice from a friend on building my first custom PC aimed at streaming, gaming, animation, and rendering. Initially, I was excited about my build, but it ended up costing around $2300. I want to bring the total down to between $1,200 and $1,500 if possible, ideally around $1,800. One major area I'm considering adjusting is the graphics card. Is there a solid GPU from a few generations back that's still powerful but cheaper? Or would it be better to stick with the current specs? I'd appreciate any input!

You might want to check out the CyberPowerPC Gaming Desktops. They have models like the one with the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti for around $1,800. It's a great spot to get some solid power at a better price! You can find it at retailers like Best Buy.

Here’s a custom build suggestion that comes in just around $1,950. It includes the Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, a quality CPU cooler, a Gigabyte motherboard, and 32 GB of RAM. You can get a decent Radeon RX 9070 XT for the GPU too! Just check out the full list on PCPartPicker to see if it fits your needs.

Make sure you're getting a good SSD. The NV3 uses QLC flash which isn't the most durable. I suggest opting for SSDs that use TLC flash like the Patriot P400 Lite or Klevv CRAS C910, as they’ll last longer and perform better over time.
