I currently have a Ryzen 5 5600 paired with an RX 6600. I'm gaming at 1080p right now but I'm considering a switch to 1440p if the new GPU can handle it. I mainly play FPS games like Overwatch, Valorant, and Fragpunk, and my goal is to achieve a consistent 240 fps. I'm not looking to upgrade my CPU or RAM at this time since the x3d CPUs for the AM4 platform seem to be out of stock. My budget is flexible at the moment, so I'm open to suggestions for a new GPU.

I think the RX 9070 or 9070 XT would be great options for your setup. They offer solid performance and would allow you to hit those fps targets at 1440p easily.
