Looking to Upgrade My PC on a $350 Budget – What Should I Get?

I'm currently running an Intel Core i3-10105F processor on an H470 chipset, along with an RX 580 8GB GPU and 16GB of RAM. My budget for upgrades is around $350, and I'm wondering if I should make any upgrades with that amount, and if so, what components would be the best choice?

Honestly, if you can stretch your budget a little, saving up might be a better option. Upgrading just one part could create a bottleneck with the others, leaving you wanting more later. But if you can make a full platform upgrade, that’s worth it. Keep in mind, you could find a used GPU later to pair with a new CPU upgrade for a significant boost!

That's a fair point. I'll look into saving more for a more complete upgrade.

Totally! Just make sure whatever you do, your CPU and GPU can work together smoothly!

You should definitely consider upgrading! Your current setup is quite limited for modern gaming. With a $350 budget, I suggest looking into upgrading your CPU, motherboard, and RAM. You can stick with your RX 580 for now. A great option would be the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 or 5600X, paired with a B550 motherboard and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. This should significantly boost your performance without overspending! You can also save some cash if you reuse your existing RAM if it’s compatible.

I agree! That setup sounds solid. Just make sure to check compatibility before buying your new parts.

Yeah, and if you have some budget left, you might look into getting a good SSD for faster load times!
