I'm considering an upgrade for my PC and would love some advice on whether it's the right move. Here's what I currently have: a motherboard that's an Asrock B365M-ITX/ac, an Intel Core i7-8700 processor, an Nvidia GTX 1650 Super GPU, 32GB of Crucial RAM, a 450W Hiper PSU, a 256GB generic M.2 SSD for the OS, and I use a Silverstone SG13 Mini-ITX case. UserBenchmark shows that my GPU is underperforming in the 17th percentile, while the rest of my components are doing fine. I'm thinking about getting an Asus GeForce RTX 3060 12GB DUAL OC V2 as a Christmas gift for myself, but I'm hesitant. I'm not into VR or 4K gaming, just 2K max on my 1080p 165Hz monitor, and I'm mainly looking to get more VRAM for Blender rendering. Also, I think I need to upgrade to at least a 600W PSU, but I'm unsure if that's too much or just right. What do you think?

Honestly, I wouldn't spend money on a new 3060 at current prices; it feels a bit outdated. If you could share your budget, that would help. Ideally, a whole new build would be better, but I'm curious about your spending limit. How much are you looking to invest in this upgrade?
Definitely makes sense to upgrade to the RTX 3060! Your Intel i7-8700 should pair nicely with it. Just a heads up, though: a 500W PSU would be sufficient, but if you want some extra headroom, going for a 600W might be a good idea.

I prefer to steer clear of the used market, especially after seeing how many GPUs might've been overused during the crypto craze. A new 3060 comes in at around 260 EUR with warranty, with a budget cap of 300 EUR. I've read Nvidia typically performs better with Blender, and having 12GB VRAM is tempting.
