Hey everyone! I'm new to the PC scene and I picked up a build a few months ago, but it's not keeping up with my gaming needs as well as I'd like. I'm curious about what components should be my first focus for an upgrade. Here are the specs of my current setup:
- **GPU**: RTX 3060 Ti
- **RAM**: 16GB DDR4 @3200MHz
- **Storage**: 1TB SATA SSD
- **Motherboard**: ASRock B450M/AC R2.0
- **PSU**: Raidmax Cobra 650W 80+ Gold
- **Cooling**: darkFlash DN240A
- **Case**: DarkFlash DB330M
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (6 cores)
I know some parts might be low quality, given how budget-friendly it was, but I want to enhance my gameplay experience. Any suggestions on where I should begin with the upgrades? Thanks a lot!

Definitely look at your CPU and RAM. If you're playing on a high resolution like 1440p or 4K, your GPU will do the heavy lifting, but for 1080p gaming, a faster CPU could really improve your experience. Also, given that some parts might be lower quality, your cooling could be next on the list too if you're planning on overclocking with a new CPU.
Before diving into upgrades, check how your current setup is performing during gaming. If you're experiencing slowdowns, especially at lower resolutions, it could be worth upgrading to faster RAM or a better cooling solution first. This way, you'll ensure stable performance for whatever component you choose to upgrade next.
First off, nice setup! Since you have an RTX 3060 Ti, you’re already on the right track for gaming. I'd recommend upgrading your CPU next, as the Ryzen 5 3600 is decent but may bottleneck depending on the games you play. Consider something like the Ryzen 7 or even 5 series with more cores if your budget allows. Also, keep an eye on your RAM; if you're running multiple applications, going to 32GB might help improve overall performance. Don't forget to check your motherboard compatibility too!

Thanks for the advice! I was thinking about the CPU too but wasn't sure how much it would impact my gameplay.
