Hi everyone! I'm dealing with a frustrating issue where my PC audio stops working, especially after it wakes up from sleep or after I've shut it down. It's also happened a couple of times while the PC is still running. Oddly enough, sometimes I can still hear the startup sound, but no audio comes from the speakers after that. The only solution I've found so far is to restart my PC several times until the sound eventually returns. I've tried updating my audio drivers through Device Manager, uninstalling and reinstalling them, and even using Windows troubleshooting, but nothing has worked. A few weeks back, I had some trouble with my AMD drivers after a Windows update, but I think I've sorted that out. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has any idea what might be causing it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like a hassle! Have you tried checking your PC specs? Knowing the make and model can really help. Sometimes specific sound cards can have quirks after updates. You might want to use a tool like Speccy to get all your system details and share them for better troubleshooting.

I have a Legion Y520T-25ICZ Desktop from Lenovo. Thanks for the tip about Speccy!
