I've been having trouble with monthly cumulative updates on multiple Windows 11 systems. Although other updates like Defender definitions and .Net Framework updates are installing fine, the cumulative updates are failing. I keep getting an error message stating that some update files are either missing or have problems. I've already attempted solutions like running DISM restorehealth and renaming the SoftwareDistribution folder, but nothing seems to work. I'm looking for any ideas on how to determine the cause and find a solution for these update issues.

Have you tried manually installing the .MSU file for the cumulative update from the Microsoft Update Catalog? That could indicate whether the issue lies with Windows Updates itself or more broadly with the system's patching process.
Could you let us know which version of Windows 11 you're using? Are all the systems having this issue, or is it isolated to certain ones? Also, are they all stuck on a specific cumulative update? That info could help narrow down the problem.
The issue might depend on your update source or patching method. There's currently a WSUS outage that might be impacting users. If you're using WSUS for updates, that could explain your problems right now.
I've tried both SCCM/WSUS and WUfB, and the failures persist across all methods. Manually downloading and installing is the only thing that works, but it's not ideal.
I've attempted to install both through SCCM/WSUS and WUfB with no luck. The same update failure happens regardless of the automatic method used. However, downloading and installing the file manually works, but that isn't a long-term solution.
