My Acer Monitor Shows ‘Input Not Supported’ – How Can I Access BIOS?

I'm building my first PC and have connected an Acer Vg270 Bmiix monitor to my Gigabyte Gaming B650 X AX V2 motherboard. I'm trying to use the onboard graphics from my AMD Ryzen 7 9700x CPU. I'm connecting the monitor via HDMI, but I'm seeing an 'input not supported' error, and I can't access the BIOS at all. I haven't installed an operating system yet since I'm trying to get the system to POST. The motherboards' BOOT LED is lit up. Is there any way to work around this issue and access the BIOS to adjust the resolution or frame rate to match what my integrated GPU is outputting? Thanks for any help!

Hey! First off, it might be worth trying a different HDMI cable; sometimes they're the culprit here. The resolution and frame rate settings shouldn't be an issue at this stage since without OS, those settings often default to something standard.

Just a heads-up, if you have a dedicated GPU installed, make sure that’s not the issue. If you only have the onboard graphics going, and the monitor is just HDMI connected, it should work fine. But to clarify your setup, what drive do you have? The boot LED being lit could indicate that. Also, you can't adjust any settings in the BIOS without an OS installed, so make sure that part is cleared up first before revisiting those settings later.

I don't have a GPU yet, just using the onboard graphics for now. I only have my monitor connected through HDMI to the motherboard. The drive is a WD SN770 1TB, and I don't have anything installed on it yet.
