My antivirus software recently alerted me that my main C drive is in critical condition, warning me to back up my data to prevent loss. Interestingly, the Disk Management tool shows the drive as healthy with no warnings. I'm also noticing that my computer has been running quite sluggishly and the storage on the drive is nearly full, which I've heard can affect performance. Given all this, do I need to get a new SSD and clone my data to it?

It's a good idea to back up your data, especially if your antivirus is raising alarms. Even if Disk Management shows your drive as healthy, you can't take chances with potential data loss. Not sure why antivirus software is doing health checks, though; that's usually not their main function. By the way, consider if you really need third-party antivirus—maybe Windows Defender would suffice?
Cloning merely transfers everything from your old drive to a new one, then you can switch things out. It's an essential part of upgrading if you're worried about losing data. Just make sure to get a drive that suits your needs—speed and capacity matter!

If you do end up buying a new SSD, make sure to choose one with good read and write speeds. They have great offers nowadays, you might find something nice that fits your needs!
