Hey everyone! This is my first post here. I'm having trouble with my Asus H81M-A/BR motherboard, which has 12GB of RAM and an Intel Core i7 4770 processor. One day, Windows just wouldn't load, so I used a live version of Ubuntu from a USB drive to grab some files I needed before attempting a Windows recovery. After that, I shut down the computer properly. The next day, however, it wouldn't get past the boot screen that says "Asus in search of incredible - Press F2 or Del to enter setup." Here are some things I've noticed: 1. No error beeps. 2. It won't boot from SSD, HDD, USB, or DVD. 3. It does beep when there's no RAM. 4. If I press nothing, it seems to recognize CTRL ALT DEL and restarts, but pressing TAB just results in a black screen and a freeze.
Here's what I've tried so far: 1. Tested another power supply. 2. Tried a different keyboard. 3. Used both VGA and HDMI for the monitor. 4. Switched the RAM around, using one at a time and even different modules. 5. Removed and replaced the CMOS battery. 6. Reset the CMOS with the jumper. 7. Attempted to power it up with just the power supply and monitor connected. 8. I even tried booting without the processor (obviously didn't work).
I'm wondering what could have gone wrong. If it turns out to be a corrupted BIOS, would it be worth it to buy a new one? I want to avoid unnecessary expenses if it's something else. Thanks!

Try disconnecting all drives (both M.2 and SATA), and then boot from a Windows USB drive. If you can start the installation process, add your drives back one at a time and check if they cause issues.
