My Computer Keeps Crashing with Blue Screen Errors While Playing Games – Any Solutions?

I've been experiencing persistent blue screen crashes on my computer lately, especially when playing games. I built this system about 5-6 months ago, and the errors show up as ATTEMPTED_TO_WRITE_READ_ONLY_FILES or Memory Access Violations. I've tried running Memtest86 to check if the RAM is faulty, but that came back fine. I even turned off XMP profiles in case overclocking was causing the issues, but that didn't help either. I reached out to Microsoft support for assistance, but unfortunately, they didn't provide any solutions. I'm at my wit's end here and would appreciate any advice on how to proceed.

It sounds like you might be dealing with a hardware issue. If you have two RAM sticks, try running your system with just one stick at a time to see if the problem persists. Is your Windows installation fresh? In my experience, I've had similar issues, and I ended up sending my CPU back under warranty, so keep that in mind as a last resort!

It's good to hear you did the Memtests, but you might also want to look into your CPU temperatures. Sometimes overheating can lead to these kinds of crashes. Make sure your cooling system is working properly and that nothing is blocking airflow.

Have you managed to collect any dump files for those crashes? They can be really helpful in diagnosing the blue screens. If you can access your Windows directory normally or through Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump folder. If there are any dump files there, zip them up and upload them to a file-sharing site. We typically like to analyze multiple dump files for better insights!
