This morning I powered on my Windows 11 laptop and noticed that even though it's connected to Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and my Android hotspot, there is no internet access. I've already confirmed that my internet is working fine on my Android device. Here's what I've tried: running the troubleshooter (which says I'm connected), restarting my router, resetting the network settings, forgetting the network, rebooting my PC, and trying to connect via the hotspot but still have the same issue. Connecting with a cable to the router yields the same result: it indicates a connection but there's no internet. What are my options now?

One possibility is that your DNS server isn't being assigned properly from DHCP. I suggest forgetting your current Wi-Fi network and reconnecting. Sometimes, toggling your hotspot off and on can help, but forgetting and re-adding the network is usually the most effective fix for me. Give it a shot!
Make sure to check what kind of router you're using. Log in to it and see if it's actually connected to your ISP. Just because your computer is linked to the router doesn’t guarantee that the router itself is online. If in doubt, reaching out to your ISP can help clarify things.
It sounds like a driver issue. If you're unable to update your drivers due to no internet, I recommend going to Device Manager, uninstalling your network drivers, and then reinstalling them. You might be able to do that once you get some form of internet connection back.

But I can connect to the internet just fine on my Android, so shouldn't the router be okay?
