My Ethernet Cable Isn’t Being Detected by Windows 11—Any Ideas?

I've been struggling with an issue where my Ethernet cable isn't being detected by my Windows 11 PC. I initially plugged it in, and it was recognized, but it didn't connect. After a restart, my PC stopped detecting it altogether—not even showing it in Device Manager. I've tried resetting the network, restarting both my PC and the router, doing a clean Windows install, running flushdns, and even checking the BIOS settings. I'm really at a loss here. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm eager to see how much faster my internet could be!

Have you tried swapping out the Ethernet cable? Sometimes the simplest solution is the right one. Or, if you have another device, plug the cable into that to see if it works elsewhere. Just to rule out any potential cable issues first!
