I recently bought an HP OMEN O17 17.3" FHD Gaming Laptop about a month ago. It's packed with some solid specs: Intel Core i7-12800HX, 1TB PCIe SSD, 32GB RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070Ti, running on Windows 11 Pro. However, I've been facing a frustrating issue where games like Red Dead Redemption 2 suddenly freeze after a few minutes. The only way to get it to respond again is to turn the power off and back on. I've checked the usual suspects for problems, but nothing seems to explain what's happening. Since I'm new to gaming setups, I'm not sure what else to look into that could be causing this problem.

Please be careful with any BIOS settings or disk configurations; they can risk data loss. Make sure your backups are up to date before you modify your system. If you can’t return the laptop, maybe try looking for common fixes online or see if there’s a driver update that could resolve the freezing.
Since it’s a new laptop, I’d recommend recording a video of the freezing issue to show the support team. If it's still under warranty, you could ask for a repair or a replacement. It’s definitely worth following up on it, especially since it’s only been a month.
