Hey everyone! I built my gaming PC back in 2020, and lately, I've noticed it's starting to slow down. Here are my current specs:

- Motherboard: Gigabyte B450m DS3H-CF
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor (3.20 GHz)
- RAM: 16.0 GB
- Storage: 224 GB SSD ADATA SU635 + 1.86 TB SSD SPCC
- Graphics Card: Radeon RX 570 Series (4 GB)
- System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

I'm looking to upgrade some components and was hoping to spend around $500-$600, but I'd appreciate any recommendations, regardless of price. Thanks in advance!

First off, I’d suggest updating your BIOS and then look into getting a CPU upgrade to a Ryzen 5700X. Make sure to grab an aftermarket cooler for it! For the GPU, a Radeon 6600 would fit nicely into your budget and give you a decent performance boost. I put together a potential build for around $360 that you can check out [here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wDf8sh). Just a heads up, though: I noticed you didn’t mention your PSU; that’s important for GPU recommendations too!

Thanks for the tips! My PSU is a Thermaltake SMART 600W, so that should be good for most upgrades. Really appreciate your input!
