Hey everyone! I recently built my gaming PC just before Christmas and had been enjoying playing games without any issues for a couple months. However, it suddenly began to stutter while gaming, with both my CPU and GPU hitting 99% load. Oddly, the temperatures aren't showing any signs of overheating. My AIO cooler's screen keeps turning off and on, and my GPU fans are doing the same when the stuttering happens. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this type of issue? I'm wondering if there's a chance that the CPU and GPU might be conflicting somehow. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Tom.

Try resetting everything. Unplug all cables and ensure that the one going to your monitor is plugged directly into the graphics card, not the motherboard. If that doesn’t fix it, dive into the AMD control panel and make sure your GPU is selected as the main output.
So here's something odd: it turned out one of my monitor cables had shifted from the GPU to the motherboard. The monitor I usually game on was using that connection. Also, my CPU switched to 'gamer mode', which disabled 8 cores and was only using the x3d cores. I guess that caused it to struggle a bit with running the games, while the GPU was like, 'What's happening?' Thankfully, everything seems fine now! Still unsure how that all happened—maybe someone jostled the monitor cable?
Could this be a PSU issue? Have you checked if it’s functioning properly? Sometimes if the power supply isn’t delivering enough juice, it can cause issues like stuttering.
I haven’t tried the classic paperclip test, but I did check the voltages in the BIOS, and everything looks fine to me. I’m a bit stumped, haha.
Interesting build! You've got an oversized PSU paired with a pretty beefy CPU for that GPU. Maybe it's a compatibility issue?

That definitely explains it! Your gaming monitor was likely using integrated graphics instead of the GPU.
