I'm using an iPhone 13 Pro Max and typically connect it to my Canon Pixma MX 479 printer. However, the connection stopped working last year, and I've been relying on my laptop instead. I really want to be able to print directly from my iPhone again. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Check your Wi-Fi settings. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and look for your printer's network (it might be something like 'HP-Print-XXXX'). Tap the info icon next to it and select 'Forget This Network'. If it keeps popping up, you might need to reset your iPhone's network settings through Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Let me know your printer brand if you need more specific help!
First things first, try removing your printer from the iPhone and then adding it back again. Sometimes, a simple reset can do wonders! Also, make sure you have the Canon app for AirPrint installed on your iPhone.
There could be a few reasons for this connection issue. I found a detailed guide on troubleshooting printer connections with iPhones. It’s in German, but you can translate it easily. Check it out here: [link]. Good luck getting it sorted!
