I'm having trouble updating my iPhone 8. Every time I try to install iOS 16.7.12, I get a notification saying, "An error occurred installing iOS 16.7.12." I'm starting to think it might be time to replace my phone, but before I do, is there any way to get this update to work?

You might want to check if you need a newer phone, but before you decide, try clearing any existing iOS files. Go to Settings, then General, tap on iPhone Storage, and see if there's an iOS file there. If you find one, delete it, restart your phone, and then attempt the update again.
Another option is to use iTunes to perform the update. Just make sure you back up your phone info before diving into the update process. It might just do the trick!
Honestly, I still have my iPhone 8 Plus, and it's holding up surprisingly well. But what about that classic home button? It's pretty nostalgic, right?
