Hey everyone! I recently unearthed my old iPod touch 4th generation, but I ran into a huge problem. When I powered it on, I was greeted with a bizarre message: "iPod is disabled, try again in 28,991,260 minutes," which translates to 55 years! I don't remember entering the wrong passcode that many times, and there's no Apple ID linked to it. The last time I used it was on a trip where it worked perfectly. I'm really eager to get my old photos and data back. I've already tried Finder, iTunes, 3uTools, and a few others, but none of them will recognize the device until it's unlocked. Has anyone else faced this or know how to resolve it? I mean, 55 years is a bit extreme!

Unfortunately, if it’s not responding, it's likely permanently disabled. Some people suggest connecting it to iTunes and keeping it on with internet access for a day so it can sync the time, potentially resetting the lock timer. It’s worth a shot!
