I've been having some serious issues with my keyboard lately. Most of it works fine, but I'm having trouble with a few keys: the backspace key, the letter before 'u', the letter before 'z', the left shift button, the middle button, and the tab button. Honestly, it's becoming a nightmare—it's been like this for at least a week now, and I can't get my school work done. My computer is fully updated to Windows, so I'm not sure what the problem could be.
The weird thing is, it only happens sometimes. I'll turn on my computer, and the keyboard works just fine for a while, then an hour later, it just stops working. I've got no clue about electronics, so I'm sorry if I'm not explaining this perfectly!

It sounds like your keyboard might need some cleaning or possibly even replacing. If it's a laptop keyboard, check for spills; they can cause keys to malfunction. If you don’t want to shell out for a new one right away, trying a cheap USB or Bluetooth keyboard can be a quick fix until you figure things out. Also, if it's a school-issued laptop, let the IT department know—they might help you out.

How do I clean a laptop keyboard without damaging it? I really hope it's not a hardware issue since I got this laptop less than a year ago.
