What should I consider before uninstalling KDE Plasma on Arch?

Hey everyone! I recently switched to Arch Linux and initially installed the complete KDE Plasma desktop environment as a backup while I set up Hyprland. Now that I'm getting more comfortable with Hyprland, I'm thinking about removing KDE Plasma from my system. I'm wondering what functionalities or features I might lose if I go ahead with removing the KDE packages using pacman. I know that Dolphin, the file manager, is part of KDE and I'm planning to switch to Yuzu. Any advice on this would be much appreciated!

If you uninstall KDE Plasma, be careful with dependencies! You might run into issues if other programs rely on those KDE libraries. Make sure to double-check what you're removing to avoid breaking anything important. A good practice is to review the packages that will be uninstalled and ensure you're not removing anything crucial for your current setup.

Yeah, I'm also worried about removing KDE without guidance. It's a bit tricky! I didn't find many manuals on doing this safely either, but you might want to check Arch Wiki or forums for advice tailored to your setup. They usually have good info to help with package management.
