Hey everyone, I'm facing a frustrating issue with my keyboard. It seems to work for about a minute after I power on my computer, but then Windows throws an error saying the device plugged into USB port 2 has malfunctioned. I tried reinstalling the driver, and it only works for another 30 seconds or so. I've also noticed that the num-lock indicator light on the keyboard flashes every 5-15 seconds. I even tried using a USB 2.0 port, but that didn't help either. The whole time I've been typing this, I had to rely on the on-screen keyboard. If you need more details, just let me know!

I think I saw an update about this. Someone posted an image of the notification they received from Windows about the malfunction. That might give you a clue about what’s happening. Just make sure to check your actual message or any potential issues with the keyboard driver!
It might be worth testing that USB port with a different device, like a mouse. If the mouse has the same error, it could be that the port itself is faulty. If the mouse works fine, you might need to consider replacing your keyboard.
Have you tried plugging your keyboard into a different USB port? Sometimes switching ports can help resolve these kinds of issues. Also, make sure you’re using the back ports when possible, as they generally have more power.
Yeah, I tried the back port and also the front USB-A 2.0 port. No change.
Does using a USB drive count? I tested that, and it worked in the same port.
