I'm experiencing serious BSOD crashes on my ASUS Strix Scar 18 laptop. The issues started after I downloaded the Battlefield 6 beta on August 9th; I had three crashes in a row during that time, but it worked fine after uninstalling. However, the crashes persist. I'm encountering random error messages like 'Critical Process Died' and 'Unexpected Store Exception 0x154'. When the system crashes, it boots into the BIOS, where it says no storage device is found. Exiting the BIOS allows the laptop to function normally until it crashes again. These issues seem to happen frequently when I'm saving files in programs like 3ds Max or Unreal Engine, and I've noticed the SSD usage spikes to 100% before a crash. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

First, you should run some checks on your disks and system files. Open CMD as an admin and try the commands: 'chkdsk c:' and 'SFC /scannow'. If you find errors, use 'chkdsk c: /f'. Also, consider running a memory test or checking your CPU settings to see if anything is overclocked. You could also run DDU in safe mode to uninstall any problematic GPU drivers and reinstall stable ones. Checking the Event Viewer might help pinpoint the issue as well.
For a more accurate analysis of what's causing the BSODs, you should collect the dump files. If you can get into Windows or Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump folder for any crash logs. If you have some, zip the folder and upload it to a file-sharing service. Multiple dump files are beneficial for diagnosis, so if you have any at all, please share them. Follow this guide to create more logs if needed!
I had a similar situation with my laptop. I removed the SSD (where the operating system was installed) and gently cleaned the connectors with an eraser. It surprisingly resolved my issues. Just a thought, but it might be worth a try if you're comfortable doing that!
Oh wow, was that on a laptop too? Can you share a bit more about your experience?
Unfortunately, Windows fails to create dump files for me, so I have no idea what's causing the crashes...
