My laptop shows 0% battery but keeps running—should I worry?

So, I've got this older Lenovo laptop running Windows 11, and I noticed that the battery percentage is stuck at 0%, yet the laptop still works when it's on battery. I'm not sure if this is a software glitch or if the battery is actually failing. I mainly use it plugged in, so I'm wondering if it would be okay to just keep it that way or if I should do something about the battery. Any advice or warnings would be greatly appreciated!

Since your laptop is from 2014, the battery could definitely be nearing the end of its life. If it’s not a serious hassle right now, using it plugged in should be fine, but just know that keeping it plugged in all the time can sometimes mess with the battery's health over long periods. Maybe consider replacing it if it becomes an issue.

Honestly, it sounds like it might just be a software bug since the laptop still runs fine even at 0%. However, keep an eye on it! Older batteries do tend to lose efficiency over time, so if it starts shutting down unexpectedly or the performance drops, it might be worth looking into a replacement. Better safe than sorry, right?
