I have a ProBook 640 G3 that I use for studying, but I think a virus might have messed with my system files, possibly removing some from the system32 folder and even affecting the BIOS. Now, I'm unable to access the BIOS setup, and I can't get it to boot from a recovery USB either. I've tried every keyboard shortcut I could think of, but it just powers on without doing anything. I tried Ctrl+B and Ctrl+V, but nothing worked. Holding the power button for 15 seconds also didn't help.

It doesn't sound like a virus is the issue here. When you press the power button, what happens? Are there any noises, lights, or signs that the laptop is trying to boot up? Getting some feedback can help troubleshoot further.
Usually, to access BIOS, you should try the F2, F10, or F11 keys. If it’s not even booting to a BIOS update, it could mean a more serious issue with the motherboard or hardware.
