My little cousin accidentally knocked my monitor off the table and broke the plastic feet while I was away. He tried to fix them with hot glue, not realizing that replacement parts are available. Now, I'm wondering if there's a way to remove the damaged feet without harming the monitor itself. One foot is glued to the monitor, and the other is just glued around the screw but isn't attached to the monitor itself. Any suggestions?

I’d recommend the hair dryer method too. It works well without damaging things—just keep it at a safe distance from the screen.
I agree with using heat! Hot glue usually comes off plastic pretty easily. Just warm it up a bit—enough to loosen it without melting. If it’s stuck in tighter spots, a hair dryer should do the trick as long as you're careful not to overheat it.
Another option is isopropyl alcohol, especially if it's over 70%. You can dip a Q-tip in it and use that to soften the glue. If that doesn’t work, heating it gently with a hair dryer should help.
You might have some luck loosening the hot glue with a hair dryer. Just make sure to keep it on low heat and aim it away from the screen so you don't accidentally damage anything.
