My Mouse Isn’t Clicking After a Spill, What Should I Do?

I accidentally spilled some water on my SteelSeries Prime Wireless mouse. While the scroll wheel and sensor are still functioning, both the left and right clicks aren't working. The system can detect when I press the buttons, but it doesn't recognize when I release them. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I'd recommend leaving it upside down in a warm, dry place for a while. If it still doesn't work after that, unfortunately, you might just have to replace it.

Sounds like you need to let it dry out completely. Did you turn it off when the spill happened and how long has it been? If it doesn't start working after drying, it might be time to think about getting a new mouse and maybe keeping drinks away from your gear in the future.
