I recently built my new PC featuring a 9060XT graphics card and a Ryzen 5 9500X CPU. Initially, I tested games like Fortnite and Ready Or Not, and they were running around 130 FPS on max settings at 1440p without any frame generation or FSR. However, just a couple of days later, the performance dropped significantly—now I'm getting only 80 FPS in Ready Or Not and 60 FPS in Fortnite. I initially thought multiple background applications might be causing the issue, but even after closing everything, the performance didn't improve. The only change I made was to add several PC fans and replace the CPU fan with some budget options from Temu. While those fans keep the CPU temperature at 70°C under load, they don't seem to register in BIOS, which makes me wonder if they are affecting performance. What should I do? Is it possible that the fans not reading is what's causing the drop in performance?

Have you double-checked your graphics settings? Sometimes, GPU software can auto-adjust these settings without notice, causing frame drops. It might be worth looking into again just to be sure!
Quick question: Did you connect your fans to the motherboard or the power supply? The CPU fan really needs to be plugged into the CPU_FAN port on the motherboard. Just curious—why did you go with those no-name Temu fans? The basic models from known brands aren't that pricey and usually perform better.
I did connect it to the CPU fan header, but it seems like the system isn't recognizing it at all. I picked the Temu fans because I liked their design; they look like the Lian Li ones!
I was on max settings from the start, so I don’t think that’s it.
