My New PC Keeps Shutting Down After a Few Seconds – What Could Be Wrong?

I just finished building my new PC and everything seems to be in place. Here are the specs:

- Gigabyte X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE
- AMD Ryzen 9 9950x3D
- Asus ROG Astral OC RTX 5090
- TEAMGROUP T-Create Expert 64 GB (6400 2x32)
- Lian Li EDGE 1300w PSU
- Multiple fans, including Lian Li Hydroshift II LCD-TL
- Two Samsung SSDs: 9100 PRO 4TB and 990 PRO 4TB

The issue is that after I press the power button, all the fans spin loudly, and the components light up, but after a few seconds, the system turns off completely. The motherboard shows a code of 46 which soon switches to 15 for a moment, and then the PC powers down. I see some red lights first on the CPU and then on the DRAM which stay lit until it shuts off.

So far, I've tried the following:
- Updated the BIOS using the q-flash plus feature without pulling the motherboard out of the case. The PC powered on afterward but turned off after a few minutes.
- Tested each stick of RAM in all the slots.
- Shorted the CMOS pins to reset the BIOS.

The most common code showing is 15, which signifies memory training, but I'm concerned about the abrupt shutdown. I haven't reseated the CPU yet since I lack thermal paste. I'm at a bit of a loss here, and I'd appreciate any help since I don't have spare parts to test.

Hey! If your RAM is running at high speeds, try slowing it down a bit in the BIOS. Sometimes, that can help with stability issues. Also, for the repair shop, just search "PC repair shop near me" on Google to find someone local who can help out with this. Good luck!

First of all, did you remove the plastic cover from your CPU cooler and apply thermal paste? That’s a pretty crucial step because without it, your CPU could overheat quickly, causing the system to shut down. It’s easy to overlook, but definitely check that!

Honestly, with a build like that, it might be worth just consulting a repair expert. You've invested a lot, so getting it looked at could save you time and hassle. Also, what’s this about giving away Minecraft? Just curious!
