I recently built my own PC but I'm encountering a problem where it turns on briefly before shutting off again. Initially, it powers up but only stays on for a short time before it turns off. If I try to turn it back on, it shuts down even quicker. Eventually, the only indication of power is the RGB lights on the fans, but nothing else works. My setup includes an ASUS motherboard, a Corsair AIO cooler, an MSI GeForce RTX GPU, and a Corsair case. What steps can I take to resolve this issue?

One of the first things to check is your power supply unit (PSU). Make sure all cables, especially the ones connected to the motherboard and GPU, are securely plugged in. If you have an onboard GPU, try removing your external GPU to see if that helps. Sometimes, connection issues can lead to shutdowns like this.
I noticed when I was building my PC that some thermal paste scratched off the cooler. Could that be causing the issue? Just wondering if that's something to look into.
Does it stay on longer if you wait a bit before trying to power it on again? That may indicate an overheating issue or a problem with the PSU.
