I just finished building my computer, but when I try to turn it on, nothing happens. The motherboard lights up, and the RAM shows signs of life, but I can't get it to boot. I've already updated the BIOS and cleared the CMOS. Here are the components I used:

- CPU: AMD 9 9900X3D
- Motherboard: Asus Rog Strix x870E-E AM5
- Memory: Corsair Vengeance 64Gb ddr5-6000 CL40
- Storage: Samsung 9100 Pro 4tb
- Video: Nvidia FE GeForce RTX 5080
- PSU: Nzxt c1200 80+ Gold

Any tips or suggestions on how to troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciated!

It's crucial to check where your DisplayPort cable is connected. Make sure to reseat all components, including the RAM and GPU, to ensure a solid connection. If you have taken any pictures of your setup, it might help to share those for better diagnosis.

If this is a new build, sometimes it can take a moment for the first boot to POST. If you haven't yet, try starting it without the GPU – just use the motherboard's video output. Make sure your monitor is set to the correct input as well.

Try plugging your HDMI cable directly into the GPU instead of the motherboard. If that doesn't help, strip your setup down to just the essentials: one stick of RAM, the CPU, and the power supply, and see if it boots. If not, you might be looking at a PSU or motherboard issue.

Check the small display on your motherboard for any error codes; that could give you a clue about what's wrong. If it's showing a blank screen, there might be a deeper issue. Also, make sure everything is connected properly and that the power supply is functioning well.
