My New SSD Isn’t Being Detected Properly—Help!

I recently bought a new SSD and everything seemed fine at first. I installed my OS and started downloading a few files, but then suddenly my PC stopped detecting the SSD. I checked in the BIOS, and it recognizes the SSD, but when I boot into Windows and try to access disk management to format it, I run into issues—it won't let me format or delete the volume. Does anyone have tips on how to troubleshoot this?

You might want to try booting from a live USB drive with a Linux distro like Ubuntu or Mint, or even Hiren's Boot CD if you prefer something Windows-based. If the drive shows up and works fine in that environment, the problem could be with your Windows 11 setup post-update. Just keep an eye on it!

I doubt it's just the updates messing with it, though. Might be worth checking the cables and connections too!
