I'm having a major issue with my Windows PC and the Intel AX200 Wi-Fi 6 card. Whenever I try to download something like Fortnite or even when running a speed test, it completely takes down my entire network. This affects everything—Wi-Fi, wired devices, smartphones, TVs—absolutely all of it.
Here are some things I'm noticing:
- My Mac and PS4 can download at full speed without any problems.
- If I try to limit the download speed for Fortnite, it crashes the launcher.
- The crashing happens whether I'm on Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
- I've confirmed that my router's firmware is up to date.
I suspect there might be an issue with the combination of Windows, the AX200 card, and the router, potentially causing the PC to flood the network. Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there a way to fix this without having to replace the router or reinstalling Windows? I'm also looking for safe ways to test downloads without crashing my network each time.

You might want to consider booting your PC with a different operating system, like Ubuntu, just to see if the issue persists there. This could help determine if the crashing is specifically related to Windows. If that works without issues, then you might just need to troubleshoot your Windows installation.

That's a good idea! I had a similar problem with my setup, and switching to a live USB of Linux helped me debug the issues without messing with my Windows install.
